SIGNIFICANT GOLD RESOURCE IN ALASKA
WestMountain Gold, Inc.’s (WMTN) Terra Project is a bonanza-grade gold project located in the Revelation Mountains of the Alaska Range. Originally discovered by Ben Porterfield of Kennecott Exploration Company in the 1990s, the project currently consists of 344 State of Alaska mining claims that cover 55,040 contiguous acres (85 square miles).
Seventy-four drill holes for 15,392 meters have been drilled on the project. Previous exploration and drilling have focused on the Ben Zone which has a resource from drilling 47 drill holes for 9,908 meters. Bulk sampling of the Ben Vein indicated the ability of the vein to produce and recover multiple ounces to the tonne.
In recent years WMTN has also continued to drill out the Fish Zone which has produced a resource from the drilling of 4,890 meters. With additional drilling the company believes that the Ben Zone and Fish Zone will connect into one resource.
The Terra Project produced another area of bonanza-grade gold about 3 km to the southeast of the Ben Zone at the Ice Vein. These areas and others will be explored further in the coming field seasons on the project.
The Terra Project is the site of bonanza-grade gold and silver vein mineralization and, potentially, other styles of mineralization outside of the Ben intrusion area.
